Thunder Rock Off Road Ranch

Do you like desert off road racing?

I hadn't been to a desert off road race track until a few days ago.

I think I'm hooked.

This is how it went....

A friend of ours owns THUNDER ROCK OFF ROAD RANCH, an outdoor desert race track outside Congress, Arizona, he asked me to come out and take pictures of a pre-run on a new track they built.  They are gearing up for their GRAND OPENING on Thanksgiving weekend 2011.

THUNDER ROCK OFF ROAD RANCH is a new private venue that quenches the thirsts of all the quad riders, desert off-road racers, and rock crawling enthusiasts. As the government closes down the open desert, this private facility is the future of outdoor activities, racing and camping.  It's great for people to come out and ride, watch, or listen to the thunderous sounds of off-road vehicles rocking through the mountains.

I had the opportunity to take pictures of Todd Wylle, trophy truck racer, and his Co-Driver, RJ, they are really great guys!

Ever wondered what the inside cock-pit of a trophy truck looks like?

Here ya go!

The drivers got ready for a pre-run on the new desert track.

This is when the fun began!

Watching the drivers do what they do is awesome!

No words for this moment....just cool.

We had a great day watching the pre-runs, can't wait for the Grand Opening on Thanksgiving weekend!
