Disneyland Adventures

Disneyland is the happiest place on earth.

I still believe that.

Even though there are 2 hour lines for a 5 minute ride,

and millions of people to maneuver through,

seeing the magic of Disney through your kids eyes brings joy to your heart and a kick to your step.

(You need the kick to your step so that you can hurry and get to the next ride to wait 2 more hours in line.)

This is how our 2 day Disney visit went...

We spent most of our time in the little kids area for Sophi and let the big kids pack together and run themselves ragged until the end of the night.

Somehow Vic was able to crank his body around to snap a picture of us in our Hot Pink Dumbo flying around in circles. Lucky for me... this ride is slow enough that it didn't put me in a car-sick-mode.

I know we've all seen it...a bunch of pictures of families at Disneyland on each ride, boring right?

I think when you are the parent and you have experienced such happiness seeing "your" kid(s) have smiles and jumps for joy at each ride that you think you are entitled to share these moments with others.

So there you have it, you're stuck seeing my pictures at each ride!

At least I didn't take a picture of every time we stopped at the Churro Cart!

I resisted, I didn't buy it!

I wanted to buy one of these though! Sophi LOVED the "horeee ride" as she called it.

We went, a lot, on this ride.

Uggg, just looking at the picture makes me car-sick!

Thanks for blowing me a kiss! I caught it.

Here are the cute little Tea-Cups...that I couldn't take her on because the sight of them makes my head spin.

Okay, I know this is really boring but isn't it pretty!

I love flowers!

Sophia and her new friend-for-the-day, Peri. Oh Peri was so cute! She was 4, Sophi 2 1/2 they were instant friends.

Why did she have a friend-for-the-day? Our friend's family met us at Disney for the day, it worked out so well that Sophi had a little girl to run around with.

I was so grateful.

The two munch-kins waited patiently for the Winnie-The-Pooh ride.

Sophia is winding down by this point. I gave her rocks and rubber snakes to play with, what was I thinking!

Waiting for everyone to meet up after the rides proved to be trying for a tired 2 year old.
We resorted to trying on Indiana Jones hats to kill time.

A little food, cookie sharing and some fun talk is all these girls needed to have a good time.

The big kids found us!

Back to the "horeee ride" with big sis.

Sophi has her fake smile down!

Pointing out the important details of the "horeee."

Megan's friends, Morgan and Lexi, never too old to ride.

Sophi had to see what was "down there."

Baby ducklings of coarse!

Our friends, Adam and Heide.

Our Disney Pals.

Snack time!

Hey where are the Churros and Corn Dogs?

This is all healthy stuff!

The "big" kids found us again!

Hailey gives her sister a little attention...

"Wherr beennn Hal-legh" as Sophi says it.

Perfect ending to a perfect day at Disneyland.

We went to Cheesecake Factory, yum, the last day.

Why is this so important?
It's not, but as I sat there enjoying a mid-afternoon cup of coffee in my favorite-clear-glass-coffee-mug-because-I'm-a-visual-type-of person,
I suddenly felt something very warm under my right leg.

What could that sensation be? Was it the coffee warming and energizing my oh so tired body?

You see that cute little pacifier sucking 2 year old nuzzled up to me?

She pee'd, in the booster chair and on my leg!

That's a first for me.

Luckily our waitress had radar or antennas on her head and sensed something was wrong when I stood up in a panic. She had to have seen my antennas sticking straight out of my head panning the room for the sign that said BATHROOMS HERE.

She was super cool when I said "we have a problem!"

"Oh did your little one throw up?" she said.

"No, pee'd. We need some sanitation at our booth, I'm so sorry." I said.

Lucky for me everything was all cleaned up when we got back to the table.

Smile girls and pretend like you are having a fabulous lunch!

The end!
